In this post I\u2019ll share info about the Barajas district that will help you get an idea of what your life would be like in this area, the type of housing you can find, its prices and the activities available by just going out on the street and walking a few minutes.<\/p>\n
Barajas is one of the 21 districts of the city of Madrid. This district originated from the “Villa de Barajas”, which formed the municipality of “Barajas de Madrid” until it was integrated into the municipality of Madrid in 1949 at the same time as 10 others.<\/p>\n
Following the construction of Madrid-Barajas Airport, in the then municipality of Barajas, the district began to grow as did the activity of the airport.<\/p>\n
Subsequently, the creation of the business area of the Campo de las Naciones and the Juan Carlos I Trade Fair Park as well as several urban developments have helped the growth of the area.<\/p>\n
